Aycan Varol's ,the soul of TYCC, yorkshire canaries 2016!

A few things about the  "tireless worker" Aycan Varol, a great Yorkshire breeder from Turkey, the soul of TYCC,a dreamer  and a very good friend of mine. One of the most active breeders of the world and an openminded person. With Aycan we are sharing the same dream " all the Yorkshire clubs to join to one Global Show" because we are all citizens of Planet Yorkshire !

"I begun to breed pigeons and canaries at the age of five with my elder cousin. I love their beauty all my life. I breed all kind of canaries until meeting The great judge Ufuk Korkut who is the founder of TYCC. He tought me a lot about Yorkshire canary. He gave me my first pair of Yorkshire canaries. Then I start to breed only these wonderful creatures. I breed Tarhan brother's (who are the best of all time for me) bloddline birds Last couble years and I'm happy with them.
Because of my busy occupations I couldn't have time to be part of all shows araund. But from the begining I tried to do my best for my club TYCC. We tried to make Türkish Yorkshire Canary standarts up to great levels. I think that we had a good job last years. I believe that in global world all Yorkshire lovers have to organise the great planet club and its show Which consist of all small Yorkshire clubs araund the world. Because the bests are getting different day by day in all shows. There must be rules for standarts. The rules must be controlled by planet Yorkshire club. Yours faithfully"

Alan Dempsey's short bio,birdroom and Yorkshire canaries 2016 !

Alan Dempsey is one of the greatest Norwich canaries breeder and a very talented judge in Norwich and Yorkshire canaries (his new "love"). Alan shared with us a video from his youngsters, some photos from his birdroom  and he wrote a few things about himself....
"When i was maybe 9 or 10 years of age i keeped my first canary and as years moved on i keep some native goldfinches and bullfinchs for a few years, but it was the canaties was my first love i was lucky to be living close to some great breeders of both Yorkshire and Norwich it did not take long to adapt to these breeds as i had great people around me my uncle Liam and Terry Bryan and Willie Bryan and aslo living behind me David O Keeffe i was around 15 at this stage but it was the norwich that i fell in love with i was lucky to optain some good stock from big Peter Aherne in Waterford and my good Friend John Fahy from which i developed a line and had good sucess after 2 years i had to go champion and compete with the people who had helped me in previous years but still helped me to produce good birds, I am very lucky that i still have these breeders around me today, I also keep some Yorkshires now which I am really enjoying at the moment again getting great help from the Bryan brothers Terry and Willie, Ned Power, Ollie Quinn Dave O Keeffe And all the lads i must say they are great to me, my shed is 30 feet long and 12 feet wide i have 80 breeding cages.
I also have flights Cages 16 ft long which i get my hens fit for the breeding season, my breeding regime is simple enough once my hens are fit i give very little in the line of egg foods or condition seed i depend on natural light and plenty of baths, the best advice ever given to me was when you think the birds are ready give them another week and take it from their, i run a cock bird with several hens, my Yorkshires are great birds to rear their own chicks but my Norwich i use feeders and only use one hen no cock birds i find there is less interference with the nests, Moulting takes place in the flight cages i try not to move them too much, when they are nearly finished i move to a single cage the birds i hope to show"
